Menu Plan {November 21st – November 23rd} and Healthy Living Goals for the Week

You may notice that this week’s menu plan is only for 3 days. We are still finishing up what is in our freezer and pantry (which is minimal) and also it is Thanksgiving. The days following Thanksgiving we usually eat up all the leftovers. For these reasons I am keeping our menu plan simple and somewhat opened ended.

This may create some challenges with keeping calories in check but as long as I am keeping portions under control and stay aware of what I am eating then I do not anticipate any real issues.

I did good meeting my goals last week. I slacked, as usual, on my coffee consumption and working out but because I stayed focused on my overall daily calorie intake I still lost 2lbs last week. Woohoo!

My goals for this week are:

  • Keeping calories between 1400 – 1500 calories a day. Of course I am going to give myself a little slack on Thanksgiving :)
  • Walk 3 times and/or turn the music on and dance with the kids.
  • Keep coffee consumption to two cups a days with no more than 2 tablespoons of creamer in each. I am trying.
  • Continue to focus on getting more fruits and vegetables in my diet. I have been doing really good with this.
