Wolfgang Puck Reversible Nonstick Grill and Griddle Review

I received the Wolfgang Puck Reversible Nonstick Grill and Griddle as a gift from my mother a little over a year ago. Since then I have used it about 1-2 times a week in preparing many of my healthy recipes. For example, putting together Grilled Balsamic Vegetable and Hummus Wraps, Grilled Stuffed Black Bean and Rice Burritos, and Grilled Chicken Quesadillas are a cinch with this indoor grill and griddle. I am always on the lookout for small appliance, kitchen tools, and other products that makes it easier for busy parents to create healthy recipes for their families and this indoor grill fits the bill perfectly. as a gift from my mother a little over a year ago. Product Description

The Wolfgang Puck Reversible Nonstick Grill and Griddle has an extra large cooking surface of 11 1/2 by 18 inches. As the description states it is reversible meaning that one side can be used for grilling foods such as chicken, vegetables, and shrimp while the other side can be used for foods such as pancakes, bacon, or sausages. It also has grease channels and a drip tray to assist in healthier cooking. There is also a temperature control knob to keep the heat just as you need it for the meal you are making. Lastly, it has a nonstick surface making cleanup very easy.

Pros

This indoor grill has become a must have small appliance for creating my Skinny Mom’s Kitchen. As I already said this is a small appliance I use all the time. The four things I love most are:

  1. Temperature control. This is a big one for me because whenever I use my outdoor grill I always have a hard time getting the temperature just as I need it for the dish I am preparing. With the indoor grill I set the temperature and can adjust it accordingly as I need to.
  2. Large cooking surface. As you know my main strategy for losing weight is cooking my meals ahead of time and freezing them. The large cooking surface of this grill allows me to do just that. Additionally, it is a perfect size for a family of four or more to prepare a fast weeknight dinner.
  3. Easy cleanup. I think this might be my favorite part of the indoor grill and griddle. I never had to soak it or exhaustively scrub it even with the most crusted barbecue sauce on it. I just use a little dish soap and hot water and it comes clean with ease. One reason I think many people shy away from an indoor grill is the clean up. But you can rest assure with this grill because clean up is easy. The only thing you need to worry about is what healthy recipe to cook next!
  4. Year round grilling. Living in Buffalo, New York our outdoor grill season is limited to only a few months. However, I must say even in the peak summer months I find myself preferring my Wolfgang Puck indoor grill over the outdoor grill most days.

Cons

Even though I love that it has a large cooking surface my only complaint is that it does take up a lot of counter and/or cupboard space. However, the benefits in my opinion outweigh this negative 10 times over.

As you move towards your goal of healthier eating and losing weight I highly recommend purchasing the Wolfgang Puck Reversible Nonstick Indoor Grill and Griddle. You can purchase one on sale and with free shipping right now from Amazon.

Do you already own an indoor grill? What has been your experiences?

  1. We have been talking about getting some kind of indoor grill. I love the fact that this is both a grill and a griddle. Thanks for your review. I will be checking it out.

  2. I’ve been so looking for an indoor grill…as I’m not a fan of going out side in the middle of winter to grill away! This sounds like a great choice! Happy SITS day!

    • Our winter is about 9 months long so I understand not wanting to grill when it is cold. This is one of the main reason I wanted an indoor grill. You will love it!

  3. I have had this for a while. I have a child care business in my home and probably use this once a week. Love it. Use the griddle all the time. Only used the grill side a couple times. I stand it up on it’s side in a lower cupboard. It isn’t small :)

  4. I have the exact same grill/griddle and I’ve only used it for making pancakes. I tried the grill side for hot dogs but the bbq sauce became gooey. I guess I really don’t know how to use the grill side. Any tips? I see alot of healthy outdoor grill recipes that I would love to try but on the inside grill as I have no idea how to use the outdoor grill either.
