Turkey Bacon Cheeseburger

Whenever you get a craving for a juicy burger but don’t want to to live with the guilt of the fast food lane then turn to this perfect comfort food that is all taste minus the guilt. You can thank me later.

Turkey Bacon Cheeseburger

Servings: 1

Serving Size: 1 recipe

Calories: 377 * Carbs: 23 * Fat: 16 * Protein: 39 * Fiber: 5

Ingredients:

McCormick Grill Mates Steak Seasoning

1 fresh ground turkey burger

1 slice of bacon

1 slice of sharp american cheese

1 Arnold Select 100 Calorie Sandwich Thins

1 thick slice of onion

1/4 cup baby spinach

Directions:

Step 1. Cook bacon and set aside.

Step 2. Using an indoor or outdoor grill cook the ground turkey burger and onion slice. Sprinkle burger with seasoning then again when you flip it over.

Step 3. When burger is cooked all the way through place slice of cheese on top. Let it cook another 30 seconds or so until the cheese is melted.

Step 4. Remove burger and onion from grill and set aside. Warm sandwich thin on grill for 30 seconds then remove.

Step 5. Place burger, onion, bacon, and baby spinach on sandwich thin.

Enjoy!

    Question for you. Normally turkey is dry, and less flavorful than red meat. Does the steak seasoning and cheese conquer those two problems?

    • I would say yes. These turkey burgers come out very flavorful and juicy. I actually prefer them over hamburgers.

        • I actually use fresh ground already prepared turkey patties for this recipe. However this week I did buy ground turkey to make my own patties with so I will post once I put together recipes for those. Keep in touch and let me know how it turns out.
